Bush Makes Final Visit to Iraq
A man, apparently a journalist, threw two shoes at President Bush during a news conference in Baghdad.
How can we mobilize people to get together across America and the world to throw shoes at President Bush as a way to say good-bye and donate to charity?
Our lives and the world around us are capable of change.
We are that change.
Do nothing no longer.
Become that change.
I hope to organize people around the word to do what was done as a symbol of protest towards not just President Bush, but to all the corruption, lies and hypocrisy that fills politics, business, war and the anger and injustices all over this wonderful planet we share.
Let us connect at this time to do something locally, in the place that you live.
Let us throw our shoes and collect them afterward to donate these LOST SOULS to organizations to shoe the homeless in your area.
Organize a Throwing in your area or join the local Throw Your Shoes group.

Bush went into Iraq either as revenge for his father - who adroitly declined to "win" the war in Iraq - probably his best political move ever, or as a grab for Haliburton profit. Who do we throw our shoes at? Where is Haliburton? Where is Dick Cheyney. Bush was a pawn in this. Do you really think that a president whose best contribution to foreign policy is "stay the course" could come up with this? His mommy and daddy were both smart. He fried his brain with alcohol in college, and never recovered. I do not want to cause further brain damage to his already tenuous intellect if one shoe would strike home. I think we should throw shoes at all the Bozos who voted him into office in the first place. Only I think it should be signs. Those who are confessed and recovering should wear a sign "Voted for Bush and am ashamed of it". Those who did not should wear sign "I voted for..... so don't blame me." Those who voted for Nader should wear a sign that says "I voted for vanity over sanity" and we should pitch "Unreconstructed Idiot of the Year" signs to everyone who either diod not vote or for some other reason does not have a sign to wear....
ReplyDeleteObama showed that an army of fed up people can be organized. I personally did not do enough to prevent Geo Bush from getting into office, though it was clear to me that the Bozo was dangerous. I voted for Gore, but not in Ohio, where I could have... Like Jesus said, "Let he who is without sin cast the first shoe."
We all should get the shoe, because as a polity WE let the liars and manipulators of the right take away our vote, our independence and our common sense. Do you really think that the Bozo president betrayed you????? Or just kept to character in a comedy in which the right wing made fools of us all?
Hit yourself in the head before you throw that shoe. If you were surprised by the last eight years you have no brain to injure.
